Chromebook Logging in and USB Files

Following the initial setup of the Chromebook, please follow this instruction to log in and access SharePoint (Staff Hub) resources.
There will be a supplemental part at the end to explain accessing USB Device Files.
Do not log the Chromebook or register it to your personal Google Chrome account.
The Chromebook should power up as soon as the lid is opened and you will be presented with the welcome page. It is from here you can check the WiFi connection is correct 'Witham Hall Guest' (Fig 1.1). Then you can continue to log into Chrome as 'Browse as Guest' (Fig 1.2.):

You are now in the Chrome browser as a 'Guest(Fig 2.) ready to enter the URL https://withamhallschool.sharepoint.com (Fig 3.)to access Witham Hall School SharePoint (Staff Hub):

Log into SharePoint using your Witham Hall School account details (Fig 4.):

Please use the SharePoint APP area (Fig 5 .1.) to access OneDrive resources, and Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, etc...) or 'Staff Academic' in the normal way:

You can access files from any plugged-in USB device (Fig 6.) from any of the 3 icons shown:

Once you have finished with the USB device, do not pull out of the socket, you may lose the stored files or worse, destroy the drive. Please select the 'Eject' function icon first (Fig 7. 1.):

Once you have finished using the Chromebook, close the Chrome browser and shut down the power via the power icon (Fig 8. 1.). This will clear your login credentials so no one else can access your  account:

Unplug the HDMI cable (leaving the adaptor in the Chromebook) and power cable and close the lid. Please return the HDMI, Audio cable, and all remotes, back to the Sports Office Manager.
