This is relevant to both Outlook App and Office 365 Mail
NB: Do this if you have received an error message, informing you that an email has not been found and failed to be delivered... (possibly an old email or typed wrongly).
The simplest way to achieve this is to:
  • Open a new email
  • In the 'To' box type in 'User@withamhall.com' (the email address you want to remove) Fig 1. 1.

  • Hover mouse over the displayed (dropped down) email for 'User@withamhall.com' until a cross appears at the end (on right) Fig 1. 2.
  • Click onto the cross to delete it from your mail cache.
  • 'Discard' email.
  • Done
